Configure plugin
Before you begin: Install the plugin.
In this tutorial:
- Open Drupal administrator dashboard.
- Configure Drupal:
- Install new language.
- Configure translatable content.
- Add language switcher.
- Configure WEB-T plugin:
- Configure translation provider.
- Select machine translation engines.
- Verify everything is setup correctly by translating a page.
Pre-translate existing content
In this tutorial:
- Open Drupal administrator dashboard.
- Open WEB-T settings > Configuration and select languages. Translate previously created content.
- Open translated content for editing. Edit translated articles like regular content.
Translate new content
In this tutorial:
- Open Drupal administrator dashboard.
- Create new article and wait for translation.
- Open translated content for editing. Edit translated article like regular content.
Change translation provider
In this tutorial:
- Open Drupal administrator dashboard.
- Open WEB-T Settings > Translation provider, select “Custom provider” and enter Base URL and API key.
- Select the new translation engines. Language and MT engine support is translation provider dependant.
Note: You must delete the previously translated content, if you want to re-translate it with the new provider.
